FALCAO! HERO IN PORTUGAL!

When the word Falcao comes to my mind I can't avoid thinking about a brazilian football player. I think everybody does think in everything excepting a Colombian soccer player. Since the mid nineties, nobody had seen a football player with the same skills of "the pibe Valderrama and "el tino" Asprilla in my country.

I am proud as a Colombian, to introduce you how amazing is Falcao. Nonetheless, he is not famous at all. The last week Porto from Portugal (which is his current team) won the UEFA Europa League, and it was largely because of the striker's skills: He scored 17 goals!

The fact of the 17 goals in the same edition of the Europa league means that he is the best scorer of all the times in that competition. He has beat the record which held Jurgen Klinsmann, a well known ex soccer player from Germany.

1. Radamel Falcao (Porto, 2010-11)      17 goals
2. Jurgen Klinsmann (Bayern MĂșnich, 1995-96) 15   goals
3. John Wark (Ipswich Town, 1981-82)     14    goals
4. Derlei (Oporto, 2002-03)          12  goals

Perhaps the Europa league is not as important as the Champions League is. Despite this fact, Falcao is a really good player who is training very hardly to improve his skills, and the most important thing is that he keeps being humble as always. Maybe that's why prestigious football clubs from Europe as Manchester United, Liverpool and even Real Madrid has shown interest in recruit him.
